I spent my day hosting a workshop at the Bellevue Beadery today. (sorry for the small picture, I grabbed it off the stores website)
We were demonstrating how to alter bamboo tiles and how to make charms with UV resin. Here is my helper, Emily, taking a few minutes to make her own pendant to wear.
This is my set up before the workshop began, tomorrow I will post some the finished pieces.
What an incredible little shop and how lucky you are to have space in it! I'm about to take some stuff to an indoor market on consignment and I hate doing that with jewelry. Still better than having too much set aside at home. Into the Sky is lovely. Really great design, artwork and colors. Thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I have lots of bamboo tiles that I've been meaning to play with. I made about 10 pendants about 2 yrs ago and then left it. Love to see your finished projects. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a sweet comment. Made me smile. It's nice to meet you.

Barbara, thanks for stopping by and for the compliments. I hope your consigned jewelry does well, it is mostly a matter of keeping up with the shop owner. Don't leave it all up to them, keep track of what you drop off and when you are paid. If you do that the owner will know you are serious and should treat you fairly.
ReplyDeleteTammy, I love your Etsy shop. Though it doesn't show here yet, I love paper as much as jewelry. I'm sure i will be checking your blog often.
