So I decided to do a quick experiment today, and I mean quick because I literally have a short attention span. I made these stamped polymer clay pendants a while ago and I thought I would put an eye pin in the top, well they just slip out. Grrr. Ok maybe I'll try those cute little glue on bails with E6000, the jewlery glue that everyone uses. Nope doesn't hold. Today I decided to take the industrial approach...super glue. It has been about an hour and it seems like a nice strong bond.
I'm hoping to get these listed on etsy at a lower price point than my current jewelry. I am trying to build up my shop using some advice from the forums. Right now all the pieces I have listed are my image transfers and because that is a long process my prices need to reflect that. These stamped pendants only take a fraction of the time so I feel comfortable keeping the price low.
I was reading today that free shipping can drive sales. I may do that for all my Halloween listings to see if it makes a difference. Now if I could just figure out how to do a etsy mini and get gadgets on this blog. If anyone happens to come by and you can offer any advice I will gladly try it.
Hi Angie,
ReplyDeleteI've never done the etsy mini but I was looking at it today. Once you sign in you click on favorites, on the left side (under promote) it says etsy mini. Once there you can choose to add pics from your shop or your favorites...that's about all the help I can be with the etsy thing.
Do you need help adding gadgets to your blog too?
Check out this site - it's helped me in the past. Fill free to ask me any questions...maybe I can help you.

Thank you Marie! I figured it had to be user friendly but I think I'm just a little skittish. Made some progress today, my blog list is now out there. yippee! If I get stumped I will pop over to your blog and pick your brain.
