For the sixth day of Christmas I made this ATC. The goose is a packing tape transfer and the egg is tucked safely away in seam binding. The background for this card from an a FAB Friday freebie on Gail's blog Shabby Cottage Studio accented with Perfect Pearls.
We were invited to join our friends to see the Duke Energy train display in downtown Cincinnati. Mr. Robert had a shy moment and decided not to pose for this picture.
This holiday train display has been going for 37 years! The tried and true elements are still here...
...but this really got my attention. I love green energy and that they found a way to bring it into the display.
These huge displays sit atop the train table, I always remember them being here and I hope they always return.
The kids have been invited to see a movie with classmates so I have to fly away again.

Mr Robert was probably overwhelmed by the beauty of all the females he was with and couldn't take it any more! The picture is cute ~ what with all the Christmas baubles in the background.
ReplyDeleteLove the train garden! We took our babies to see one this year too. They loved watching the trains go round and round and round....
Have a safe and happy new year Angie!!
PS. Love the ATC. The seam binding is a great look. What's a packing tape transfer?

Maire, The girls are standing in front of a huge Christmas tree (with huge ornaments) inside a hotel downtown.
ReplyDeleteI will have to show you how to do a packing tape transfer, it can be done with clear contact paper as well. Easy-peasy and a lot of fun.
