Packages are ready to ship

Last Friday I went to the kid's classrooms and enlisted the 2nd & 3rd graders in a project to make gift tags for our treat bundles. These are headed to 'Uncle' Carl's unit based in South Korea over the holidays. The 3rd graders even made cards for the airmen, I read a few and they were so sweet with comments like" thank you for protecting us" & "please come home safe to your family"
Here are two boxes filled and ready to go.

These two little helpers worked hard tonight bagging up candy and treats.
Here's the gang (minus me..hey someone had to take the picture) L-R Donna, Kathy, my mom...a.k.a grandma... and Mary Pat. These ladies get together at my mom's most Monday nights to work on sewing projects. When I mentioned last week that I would like to send a few small gifts to share with Carl's unit they jumped in with both feet to make it work. Thank you ladies for donating your knowledge, materials, and your time!

A trip to the post office tomorrow and these packages will be on their way.
