Blame the Xbox

Why you ask?? I am without pictures...I voluntarily gave the kids the batteries from the camera because their controllers were dead and we couldn't find any more...it was well into the 90's outdoors and I didn't feel up to a day at the pool...there, now I'm out of excuses but luckily the web is full of images.

Here is what I'm focusing my attention on this week:

Crazy Busy Times

I've done a little creating...this house is on it's way to Cloth Paper Scissors "Home Sweet Home" Challenge.
Mr Robert has been busy too! Last school year he joined the Photography Club, it was hosted by 4H. The goal was to improve his photography skills and the students were encouraged to enter pictures into the County Fair.

This guy did the work (a bit of prodding from mom) and came up with 6 entries. He also took a recycled craft class and entered a project from that as well. The Fair was this past weekend but we couldn't go because Ms Maria was in a soccer tournament.

I called the 4H office today to see if we could pick up his entries...we were so excited to see that everything he entered placed and 4 entries will be going to the Kentucky State Fair in August...what a day!

On the hunt

I need to find this! The August/September Issue of Beadwork Magazine...

why???

because I've heard from some wonderful Etsy shoppers that my faux slides made it into the "Cool Stuff" section (pinch me)

I stopped in Borders..no luck..grrr

Went to Barnes and Noble, they only had older issues...argh what's a gal to do!!

If I can't find it... guess I'll resort to ordering it online...but this immediate gratification gal is really hoping I can find it locally.
