Tis the season'

Each year I am absolutely amazed by the interest in my photo jewelry, this is my third year selling these locally and I guess I thought the response would fade. Really, whenever I get an order I have that moment of wow, they like what I make, really?

When I started Hopemore on Etsy it was a way to showcase some of the other polymer clay work I do, but in the end this is really my claim to fame. Just in the last few days I've had two inquiries into why these are not in my shop, along with some personal orders and an invite to show my jewelry at a home holiday party.

I will work on the orders I have after my return from Perry Park this weekend. I will probably have to decline the holiday party just because I'm already feeling stressed, and yes these may very well show up on Etsy after Christmas. It is probably crazy to wait and miss the Christmas sales, but I find custom work via Etsy stressful and with the holidays, expectations seem higher.

Does anyone sell or buy custom work on Etsy? If so, I'd love to hear about your experiences.

That is beautiful...no wonder people are asking about them! I have that same initial response when people tell me they like something I've made I always feel and little giddy afterward and always honored. maybe you could do an after the holidays girls night jewelry party...less stress! ~ Theresa

That is so sweet - I can see three cute little grandbabies in one of those. I'll be watching for their availability in your Etsy store.

Thanks so much for your sweet comment,--made me happy.
I so understand people are interested in your photo jewellery ,this one showed are very beautifull.I also understand the stress you feels about customs orders, I feel that too, when someone orders a doll, that have to look in a certain way.A difficult decission,-but surely your costumers will love you doing it on Etsy.

Oh, Angie, that charm is so precious! Your kids are so adorable. I enlarged the pic to get a closer look, and I love the detail on the hooks holding the charm. I would love to have a charm like that with a pic of my boys when they where little. Two of them are all grown up now.

I hope they do show up in your Etsy shop . . . I may need one of those necklaces!
