15 years, is that even possible?

So a little about me...I have been married to my wonderful guy for 15 years today. We waited a while to start a family, but they are here now and what a blessing.

I LOVE fall that is one of the reasons we picked October 1st to be our wedding day. We didn't have a big wedding, we didn't do a honeymoon, our big splurge was a weekend in a downtown Cincinnati hotel. The next day, feeling the need to roam, we drove to Louisville Kentucky. Afterward we decided to take a state route back home rather than drive the expressway.

What we found were wonderful farmers markets and town festivals. This is now our yearly tradition we hop in the car, pick a state route, and see what we can find. After the kids were born we decided to have it include stops at apple orchards. Each year now takes us to A&M farms in Midland Ohio to pick- your-own. Here is a picture from a few years back, it is one of my favorites. We will head back to the apple orchard this weekend, I really can't wait to see how many apples they can pick, last year it was 40 pounds!

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes!

Tracie-Thank you for stopping by, I think that year they picked over 20 lbs, it was 2006.

sj- thank you for stopping over! Apples right off the tree are wonderful.

kim-My daughter is a strawberry blonde, she gets complimented on it all the time. I will have to start watching my time, I agree it is easy to get lost out here in blog land.

Now I'm off to take a peak where you all blog.

Hi Angie! Happy Anniversary . . . a little late. Hope you and hubby had a little celebration. I just celebrated my anniversary as well (thanks for stopping by my new blog too!).

Seeing all those apples makes me wanna go to the orchard for apples and whip up some yummy dishes! What a great tradition you've started with finding new farms and markets each fall. Something to think about doing myself!

Thanks for sharing.
